My tagboard is totally sucky, i have to spam my own tagbox to remove all the unwanted post(too bad i forgotten my password).
Today, i had early fencing class which started like 8am. Everyone was behaving weirdly and talking nonsense and some of them were still rubbing their eyes and yawning. I bet they did not have enuf slp. Well, i guess i am prolly the only one who was awake and tat is prolly the reason why i beat everyone even Daniel, the pro. At least, i did beat him once and tat is quite a big achievement even though he looked slpy. Oh ya, and i have to dragged michelle out of her bed. She was actually slping throughout the whole lesson, not like i care too. I shld have warned her when coach was walking around, but too late, she kena scolded :P
So, it was finally break time and we were resting. Suddenly, Eric walked towards me and michelle and said "hi". Lol, tat was the 59th time he said hi (according to michelle). And after saying hi, he started blaberring lots of rubbish. It was almost impossible for him to stop. The most memorable was this:
Eric:You know love is just a chemical reaction in the brain caused by surges of phenylethylamine, don’t you?
Michelle and me: No
Eric: No one loves anyone. People are attracted to one another and pair up to breed due to our natural mating instinct. But that attraction doesn’t last. As with all drugs, the body develops a tolerance for the phenylethylamine, and eventually, the attraction you once felt for your partner fades. It’s all perfectly natural. You can get the same amount of phenylethylamine, a stimulant the mind craves, by ingesting vast amounts of chocolate as you can by, quote, falling in love, endquote. So, there is no such thing as romantic love. Understand, gals?
Me: I have no idea wat the hell u r talking about.
Eric: Fine, i repeat.When we fall in love, our brains are flooded with something called phenylethylamine. It’s a stimulant that can be found in chocolate, and, like the effects of chocolate on the mood, it doesn’t last.. It’s a stimulant that can be found in chocolate, and, like the effects of chocolate on the mood, it doesn’t last.
Me: Oh good, i noe there is no such thing as romantic love, u prove my point. Finally, u r making some sense.
Michelle: I for one dun agree. Even as the human body builds up a tolerance to the“love” drug, other chemicals—endorphins—rush in. Endorphins are what flood the brain when long-term lovers touch. They’re what give them that secure, comfortable, old-shoe feeling. But to keep things from getting TOO comfortable—and keep them exciting—a healthy dose of naturally occurring oxytocin gets released too, increasing desire, and stimulating—Well, I think I can leave the rest to your imagination.
~~~~~The rest were a lot of arguing tat i dun have to bother to write~~~~~~~
Lol, i am proud to say i managed to memorise this convo to even write this part. It will be nice to rmb about phenylethylamine part and not the idiotic endorphins part. In the end, they told me they r quoting from a book -.- I tot it was in their school's syllabus. -.-Piggies are so kawaii!!!
